Kellie W. Furin, FNP

Kellie Furin, a board certified Nurse Practitioner, has been with Triangle Family Care since early 2006. She earned her BS degree in Nursing from the University of Georgia and her Master's degree in Nursing from UNC Chapel Hill.

Prior to joining the family here, she worked as a nurse at UNC Children's Hospital in Pediatric Oncology. Kellie is married, owns a cat named Theo, and made North Carolina her home in early 2003. Her responsibilities at Triangle Family Care include seeing patients for acute and chronic conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments and medications, ordering radiology tests, and referring patients to specialists as necessary.

Although Kellie spends a lot of time at the office seeing patients, she does manage to find time to revisit her hobbies. She enjoys traveling (local and international), sewing, gardening, and reading.
