Philosophies & Goals
- We believe it is important for everyone to have a primary care physician.
- We believe that a primary care physician should coordinate all aspects of a patient's healthcare. This includes communication with specialists and hospitalists when patients need admission to a hospital.
- We believe that a primary care physician should particularly focus on preventative healthcare and health maintenance.
- We believe that one of our most important goals is to provide the best, evidence-based healthcare to our patients.
- We believe it is very important to see acutely ill patients when they need to be seen. During our hours of operation, we will do our best to see acutely ill patients on the same day that they call, whether the patient is new or established. There should be no need to go to an urgent care, no need to go to an emergency room (except for medical emergencies), and no need to wait days or weeks to be seen for an acute illness.
- We do not require an "initial visit" for new patients.
- During our hours of operation, we will do our best to answer the phones so that patients do not receive a busy signal or an answering machine.
